These events take place only once a year, and if you’re a florist or simply passionate about floristry, this is a unique opportunity to step inside the global flower industry - with me by your side. You will discover new flower varieties before they become widely available, meet growers and brands, and see where the industry is heading - which flowers, colours and shapes are likely to define the next season.
Most importantly, you will go home with fresh ideas for your floral work, product range, content and flower business. And we will explore it all together, with my explanations, professional perspective and 13 years of experience in floristry.
TOUR PROGRAM
7:30 - Meet at Amsterdam Flower School
Start the day with coffee, introductions, and a warm welcome before we set off on our floral journey.
8:30 - Royal Flora Holland
Visit the world’s largest flower auction and discover how the global floral trade works, from growers to international buyers.
10:00 - Flower Wholesale
Visit a wholesale flower and decor market, normally accessible only to industry buyers. Together, we’ll explore where local flower shops buy their flowers, select flowers for our creative workshop later in the day, and discover the decor collections available at this location.
11:30 - Trade Fair Aalsmeer
One of the key international trade shows featuring Dutch flower and plant growers.
14:30 - IFTF
The International Floriculture Trade Fair, bringing together flower growers and industry professionals from around the world.
17:00 - Workshop at Amsterdam Flower School
Back to the studio to create a bouquet in Dutch style using the flowers you selected.
18:30 - A festive end to the day
We end the day with a glass of prosecco and beautiful memories.
All organisation, tickets, flowers, and the workshop are included.
Personal purchases and cafe visits are not included.
