This workshop is dedicated to working with a kenzan a timeless Japanese floral tool that allows you to create natural, transparent flower arrangements without floral foam.
You will learn how to build a balanced and dynamic composition using a kenzan and a minimalist bowl, focusing on structure, movement, rhythm, and shape. This technique gives every stem freedom and intention, letting flowers look light and organic.
During the workshop, you will work with seasonal flowers and explore how to fix, angle, and combine stems on a kenzan to create a harmonious composition that feels effortless yet well-structured.
The kenzan and bowl you work with are yours to take home. It’s a reusable foundation you can return to again and again in your own practice or at home.
No previous experience is required just curiosity and love for flowers.
You will be guided gently, step by step.
What will you take home?
- a finished floral composition in an elegant bowl
- a solid, reusable kenzan
- practical knowledge of creating floral arrangements without floral foam
The kenzan and bowl are included in the workshop price.
